A common trait in chronic health conditions...
Are you ready for a different approach to managing MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) and histamine intolerance? In mainstream healthcare these conditions are differentiated into are two distinct medical conditions that are commonly referred to as the result of an abnormal response to histamine. Although both conditions share similar symptoms, the underlying mechanisms differ, and proper diagnosis and treatment are necessary.

MCAS occurs when mast cells, a type of immune cell, become overactive and release excessive amounts of histamine and other inflammatory substances in response to triggers that would not normally cause a reaction. Histamine intolerance on the other hand is a condition in which the body has difficulty breaking down histamine. You can experience histamine intolerance and MCAS in combination to each other or you can experience one or the other condition on their own.

My approach to managing these types of conditions are to first assess the current environment you are exposed to and help to support you with correcting or mitigating the effects of those environmental pressures.

Info you may not have heard: Histamine is made from an amino acid called Histidine.
Histidine, like many organic molecules, can absorb ultra violet light.
This absorption is due to its molecular structure, via its aromatic imidazole ring. Therefore Histidine has the ability to respond to LIGHT. The other intriguing piece of the puzzle is that Histidine also converts to another compound called urocanic acid that works with melanin to absorb UV and offer protection from the sun. From a quantum biology perspective specific protocols used to build your solar tolerance could is a key intervention in calming hyper-activated mast cells and reducing histamine responses.
Microbiome science...
Understanding the microbiome is complex and to date there is no such thing a a microbiome expert, because everyone knows a lot about very little when it comes to this area of science. Microbial communities engage in sophisticated communication and information transfer that involves classical chemical signalling to quantum mechanics. This includes quorum sensing, biofilm formation, and electrical signalling between bacteria and where there is electric there is noise, magnetism, light and water, no one considers these facts when they study the microbiome.

To think that a probiotic supplement or some fancy microbiome technology is all that is needed to shift these structures is misguided. Effective treatments and interventions will require a more holistic, systems-level understanding rather than overly simplistic thinking. This over simplistic treatment approaches leads to further disruption to the microbiome.
Identifying triggers
ENVIRONMENTAL
Mould, mycotoxins, man made EMF.radiation, artificial lights, chemicals, heavy metals and food
PATHOGENIC
Many latent and active pathogens can be the causative factor in hyper activated mast cells
CIRCADIAN MISMATCH
Trauma, TBI, poor vagal tone, poor sleep, lack of natural light exposure, destabilised elections
MICROBIOMES
Dysbiosis of the skin, oral, nasal and gut microbiome. Intestinal hyperpermeability activates mast cells
